Your Style Editorials

The online photography course for style bloggers who want to create images that engage with their audience, impress brand partners and monetize their content.

You want to be self-sufficient when it comes to creating outfit photos for your blog but you aren’t sure where to start.

You’ve had your digital camera for a while but still feel so intimidated by it.

Whenever you’ve tried shooting outfit photos with your blogger bestie or partner it never seems like they get the right angles which leaves you feeling frustrated and in a bad mood (with even worse images.)

You know your following should be growing faster, but because you have to book a shoot every time you need new images, you can’t share outfits as fast as you’d like.

You know high quality photos are imperative for securing brand collaborations.

Even if your lower quality "real" photos are the ones that convert, the high quality photos are crucial for attracting brands.

But you don’t want to keep spending hundreds of dollars a month on a photographer and rely on their schedule in order to share your content.

When it comes to shooting content for your style blog, you struggle with:

  • Knowing how to confidently use your camera and shoot in manual mode
  • Finding the time and person to shoot with you

  • Finding the right lighting and time of day to shoot

  • Finding the best location for your outfit shoot

  • Creating images that have a cohesive style

If you can relate to any of these struggles, you’re in the right place.

Imagine what it will feel like to confidently create gorgeous images for your style blog at anytime.

  • You create images that are so high quality and creative that you’re able to monetize your content on a regular basis

  • You can take outfit photos whenever you need to and post as soon as you want, without having to schedule a shoot with a photographer and wait for your images

  • You attract more brand collaborations because your images stand out from the rest

Since you know what it takes to plan and shoot your outfit photos, you can create visual content whenever you want!

"I’m getting a massive depth to my photos I didn't have before"

"Before taking the Masterclass I wasn’t sure how to adjust my camera's settings correctly. I liked that Megan shared how to practice getting comfortable with each of the manual settings. I recommend watching this masterclass - especially if you need to know the basics, this is a good place to start! After watching the masterclass I realized I had only been adjusting the shutter speed when shooting in manual mode. Now I’m getting a massive depth to my photos I didn't have before!"

"I feel much more confident in taking photos instead of the usual auto-mode"

"Before the masterclass, I struggled with understanding aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and how they were all related. It helped that Megan shared examples of the settings she used for different fashion shoots. The day after the masterclass, I went out to do a photoshoot with a bright, yellow dress. The goal was to get a crisp picture of me twirling in the dress. Looking at my notes and setting up the settings, I was able to successfully take the picture! Thank you Megan for sharing all your insights! I feel much more confident in taking photos instead of the usual auto-mode."

"I'm better at adjusting for the light so I don't have to spend as much time editing"

"Before the Masterclass I had no idea what I was doing with my camera, or what the adjustments did. I liked how the masterclass was broken up in easily digestible chunks that were simple and easy to understand. If you have a manual camera and you're still struggling with consistency in your images - you should take this class! Since taking the masterclass I'm doing a better job adjusting for the light so I don't have to spend as much time editing."

The course will start on February 26, 2018. On February 26, you'll receive an email with your log in to our private course site, where Module 1 & 2 will be ready for you (each subsequent module comes out each week for 4 weeks). + Do I get lifetime access to the course?

Yes, you will receive lifetime access to the course and access to any future updates to the course modules.

+ How long does it take to complete the course?

The honest answer is, it depends on you and your current situation. Each module has between 20-60 minutes of video content broken up into lessons. But it will be up to you to determine how long it will take to get comfortable shooting, based on how frequently you take action and practice.

There is no rush and no right or wrong amount of time, because you have lifetime access to the program and all future updates! Remember, this isn't a "quick fix" by any means. You must put in the work to see results.

We recommend you set aside 2-3 hours per week to go through the program and implement the lessons.

+ Are there any prerequisites to this course?

No, this course was created for style bloggers who are just starting out with photography - so you do not need any prior experience with cameras in order to join. You will need to have at least a DSLR or mirrorless camera and one lens in order to implement the course modules. Module 1 will show you how to decide what gear to invest in if you don’t have it already.

+ Are there any other material or equipment costs besides the enrollment cost of the course?

If you do not already have camera equipment, you will need at least a DSLR or mirrorless camera body. You will also need at least one lens of your choice. You can choose to add more gear and accessories if you want, but you don't have to! If you aren't sure what to invest in, don't worry! We cover gear & accessory options in Module 1.

+ Who is YSE for?

Your Style Editorials is for style bloggers who want to learn how to confidently create beautiful images for their blog and social media. You can use this course to shoot on your own with a tripod or use it as a guide for you and your partner to shoot your outfits together.

+ Who is YSE not for?

Your Style Editorials is not for you if you’re already satisfied with the images you're creating for your blog. If you already know how to plan your shoots efficiently, work with natural light, use your camera & manual mode confidently then YSE is not for you.

+ How can I access the course?

You can do the course from home, from anywhere in the world, and on your schedule. You can complete the course lessons from the comfort of your couch or kitchen table, as long as you have an internet connection! The entire program is completely digital so you can access it from anywhere through our private course site. And you'll never miss a beat: you can go at your own pace and do the lessons on your schedule.

+ Do I get support, community or 1-on-1 access to Megan?

When you join YSE, you will also get access to our private course community - where you can connect with other students in the course. You can ask questions and share your photos for feedback in the community. You will be able to ask Megan questions during the 4 live Q&A sessions in the private community. To be clear, this is not a 1-on-1 coaching program but Megan will be in the course community weekly answering as many questions as possible!

+ I don’t feel confident in my abilities as a photographer, is this course still for me?

Absolutely. I didn't feel confident when I first started photography either - so it's totally normal to feel that way! The more you take action and practice shooting, the more comfortable and confident you will feel as a photographer. As long as you don't give up, you will see improvement in your images.

+ What is the investment?

You can join Your Style Editorials™ for a one time payment of $297 until Sunday, February 25th at 9pm CST.

+ What will I be able to do after I implement the course content?

After you’ve watched the modules, completed the exercises and implemented what is in the course - you will be able to plan your own outfit shoot and take high-quality pictures with your DSLR or mirrorless camera (on your own or with your partner) with confidence!

+ What if I don't improve my photography after taking this class? ?

The only way you won’t see improvement in your photography is if you go through the course and do absolutely nothing with the knowledge you’ve learned. Becoming a great photographer doesn’t happen overnight. If it did, everyone would be a pro in a day! It’s something that requires practice and patience. If you take what I’m teaching you and put it into practice on a consistent basis, you will be comfortable & confident shooting and your photos will only continue to improve!

+ How is this different than other photography courses or workshops?

This course is for any style blogger who is interested in learning how to create better outfit photos, so if you just started blogging today or have been blogging for 5 years, this course is for you as long as you’re willing to take action and practice photography. This course not only covers the basics of creating beautiful images, but also shows you how to plan for a successful outfit shoot.

Hey I'm Megan!

Hey I’m Megan Weaver and I’m obsessed with teaching style bloggers how to create gorgeous images !

I started shooting with bloggers in 2013 after realizing how necessary high-quality images were for influencers - and knowing I could help them achieve that!

Eventually my clients and other bloggers started asking me how I was doing it, and I started teaching photography - at conferences, online workshops and one-on-one! Soon I had a few clients I was helping become more confident photographers, but I knew so many more people could benefit from what I was sharing.

I created Your Style Editorials™ because I've seen how high-quality images can transform the lives of influencers (and myself) and I believe everyone can learn how to create gorgeous images for their blog with the right guidance and support.

I’m excited to see what you create in the course!
